A Few Thoughts

Posted 3 years ago

Well, there is certainly nothing easy about Internet marketing, and AdSense is a tough market to break into. No matter what anyone says, it may not be rocket science, but it sure isn't easy. I think you learn how to make by trial and error alone. The people who are making it spend long hours generating sites or else pay others to spend long hours generating sites. Don't believe any of the crap that promises you Adsense wealth through site generation software alone. On another note, there is an excellent thread on the Warrior Forum on creating your own products . The person who started the thread is a successful marketer and is showing you how he starts from scratch from an idea to a product to making money. Don't miss this. The answer to that question will depend on a number of factors. It is my thought that the answer might generally depend on (1) whether or not your use is consistent with how the site owners want the site to be used, and (2) whether or not the traffic arriving at your site will feel adequately rewarded by what they find there. The SEOmoz article, posted by randfish, begins

With the popularity of sites like Digg, Del.icio.us, Reddit, StumbleUpon & others skyrocketing, website owners, marketers, bloggers and, of course, spammers are seeking to capitalize on the traffic these portals can drive. Many have taken to creating great content in the hopes that the members of these sites will appreciate it, but others have turned to manipulative practices in the hopes of cheating the systems. There's two fundamental problems with these attempts . . . read the rest of the article here . . .

If you would like an honest look at social bookmarking and how it working in the real world, away from the hype, read the rest of the article.
